Well, Everytime I visit a website to do with anything that could reveal who I a really am to my family, I delete the cookies, history and temp internet files.

Anyhow, it deletes all visited sites except one...does anybody know how to totally erase the history.
This one site will not go away
Where do you see that one?  [message #3082 is a reply to message #3080] Wed, 12 June 2002 14:30 Go to previous messageGo to next message

Could it be your Home Page? IE - Tools - Properties to change that. Also maybe right-click the desktop if it's Active Desktop to change wallpaper or turn off AD.

Don't forget Start - Documents also for any attachments - .jpg's, .avi's etc. Right click on the system tray (bottom toolbar in Windows) and it's in properties somewhere to clear it. Try also Start - Find - Files or Folders to look for temp files & cookies named iomfats, for example. I have the same issue, except I'm the Dad!

Check out the "Paranoia" tab. It should have what you need there.

Anyway, how're things with you these days? Talk to us please, Adam! Smile

Adam, I deeply regret not having the computer savvy necessary to be of any use to you about this.

I regret even more deeply the fact that you have to go through this whole song-and-dance in the first place.

Hang in there!
