Whatever it is they did to help him they need to do a bit more of, but he is heading there urgently. A friend is taking him.

I wish him all the very best and a speedy recovery. I wish I could be there with him, just to give him the moral support that he so badly needs in what is, for him, a most traumatic situation.

Hugs from J F R

I'm afraid I have no way of finding out how Marc is. While I have his phone number there seems little point in using it because he is either home and asleep or in hospital and under treatment.

I know Kevy, his ex, still reads here from time to time. He will know how to find out.

OK, Marc has been online at the hospital. He suffered a burst artery and internal bleeding. He had called a friend and she arrived to take him to hospital, but she had to call for help.

He had surgery last night and now feels like crap.

I imagine he will be there for a few days.

Thank God he sought help in time. And we are all happy that he has loyal friends that will respond to his needs. But I worry about him as far as an extended hospital stay is concerned. It is what he needs physically, but emotionally I'm not so sure. We all know how he feels about those places. I just hope they keep him on enough pain medication to keep him relaxed and smiling.

If you're reading these Marc, God bless you and we are all pulling for you.

I know this was extremely difficult for you Marc, it took a great deal of courage on your part, but ya know I feel your going to come through this and that you will find healing on more than just the physical level in time. Don’t get me wrong I know you’re probably not very happy about being there right now, just keep taking those deep relaxing breaths and marshal your own internal healing powers.

I think you are in the same hospital I went to the one time I had to be admitted, they treated me pretty well considering they freaked just a little when I told them I had HIV LOL. They aren’t perfect, no hospital is, but try to be as proactive as you can, the more involved in your own treatment you can be the better you’ll feel.

You have a lot of good friends here pulling and praying for you as do I. Keep taking those deep breaths dude!

Peace
Rich

When the ambulance brought me in i was pretty much out of it. I had lost alot of blood and once they pumped several bottles of blood and some chrar shit into me i was taken into an operating room...

The doctor then explained that they did this because the tools they have there are better than what is in the emergancy room.

they fixed the burst thing... he called it an embolism,... whatever the hell that is... and they fixed it.

i was kept in the hospital overhignt because they wanted to watch me close. tim made me bring a paper telling them about how i feel about hospitals and because of that i was in a room that was surounded by windows and i had someone there with me all night... he was someone that i casually know as well. he is gay and goes to the gay bar here in town.

once the medicine wore off he said i could go home and had to not do anything for a week. i feel generaly yukky....

Now to add insult to injury. when i got home i passed by a book shelf that had a heavy box full of assorted wine bottle openers. i goess i bumped into it because it slid out and the corner hit me in the foot just ar the akkle. i have a gash about 1 inch long and shaped like the corner of the box. it bleed like a stuck pig and now my mife is complete.....

fucking everything hurts....

i swear i have had it!

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

OH MY Gosh dude, at least they really tried to make your time in the hospital as comfortable as possible, which sounds pretty cool to me.

As far as your foot goes Ummm : / take it as learning experience, or maybe the universal mind is trying to get your attention? I don’t know, but you couldn’t ask for worse timing for something like that to happen. They probably have you on some kind of blood thinner too huh. Sheesh man I know this may sound trite but hang in there…

It may just be karma. Perhaps your foot was just trying to get your mind off the pain in your bum! ::-)

Seriously though, I am so happy you survived. It's okay to lift a few pints occasionaly, but... blood? :-/ I hope the doctor gave you something for sleep because it sounds like you need to sleep for about a week straight. That's the best way to heal.

Welcome home my friend.

I do this far to often but I was just listing to some music and I came across this,

it just seem somehow appropriate as we all can empathize.

Hugs
