Still doing daily trips to the hospital. The clostridium infection is now no longer gripping her so hard, but she spends one day in three in a bewildered state. As you can imagine I am still exhausted.
I'm going away to the south coast for the weekend - a B &B in Highcliffe - and it will either be beachfront or new forest walks.
There is now a 70% chance that she will make it home.

70% is a good chance. Yet still scarily low. Even with numbers on your side, it must be hard. *hugs*
Look at this tree. I cannot make it blossom when it suits me nor make it bear fruit before its time [...] No matter what you do, that seed will grow to be a peach tree. You may wish for an apple or an orange, but you will get a peach.

At least she is still with you, and if there was only the slightest chance of her making it home, that would be something. 70% is no guarantee, it's true, but it sounds more hopeful than a 'slight' chance. We'll keep her and you in our thoughts.
