I expect simple behaviours here. Friendship, and love. Any advice should be from the perspective of the person asking, not the person giving! We have had to make new membership moderated to combat the huge number of spammers who register

Nope, I can't.
Marc and anniversaries do not go well together. The trouble is that years are chock full of anniversaries that are meaningless to all except the folks who recognise them. This is one such trivial anniversary to all except Marc.
He's kind of in an emotional hole right now. Simple "cheer up" messages won't help. But he could do with friendly words. He's often on MSN, it's up to you guys to find him.
Hey timmy. How are you? I talk to Marc quite often on MSN. I just wish there was something I could do to cheer him up. I care about him, so of course, its my job, and if not, i'll make it my job to cheer him up.
I'm the cheer-up kind of person^^ Despite my occasional or rather quite frequent 'emo' posts on here. It's a stupid stereotype.

It's complex with anniversaries. They remind you of the whole life with the person you lost whether it's a good or a bad one. Marc is cheerful in a weird way, but very unhappy, and is beset by recurring reminders of the past which are doing his head in.
