My country often gets negative publicity (and some of it is deserved). But as regards gay rights, despite an ultra-religious political bloc with enormous power, step by step Israel is getting towards complete recognition of gay and lesbian rights.

Frankly, we think such laws are silly. They do young people more harm than good. How can you possibly ask questions on a gay forum without coming out to your parents if you need consent?
