Hello all you sexy people. It's ME!^__^

lol. I'm rather bored right now, its 9:12 pm where I am, and im bored. Woe is me. lol.

I made a short but sweet coming out post on my LJ (my LiveJournal). It's short and sweet, as I've said.

http://joshuaward.livejournal.com/8924.html

So I'm basically out now. Yay^^ lol. I feel special.

Though, I'm not gonna always say im gay all the time. It would get boring that way. So if someone asks me, I'll tell them.

Loves you all^__^

Isn't it odd how scared we can be about something thus simple? And how anti-climactic it is afterwards.

I'm preparing to do something very similar and it's taking me a lot of courage to do it at all.

Good for you, Josh.

Something to bear in mind, though, is that you may have to work on it to be 'properly' out; most of the time, people simply don't ask. I hinted that I was gay on my web site for months, even years, and no-one in real life noticed.

So, for the people who you know the best -- the people for whom you coming out will be most significant -- you may have to go round telling them for a while, as otherwise they will either make an assumption one way or the other, or will think it impolite to question you. In a country like the UK, at least, it's not something that matters to most (young) people, and therefore it's not an especially exciting piece of gossip that will self-propagate easily (though it's still more interesting than someone being straight).

In my case, I'm happy about that and don't tell most people I'm gay or bisexual or whatever, even though I'm open if they ask: it'll become clear to them when it matters, in other words, when I have a long-term boyfriend (or girlfriend: well, then it won't become so clear, but it will be interesting to study people's reactions).

Smoooch tiger..... good for you.... huggs

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

Good for you, kid.

Y'know, for a long time I wasn't sure exactly what to say in this situation. "Congratulations" seems weird, since it's not so much something worth congratulating, but a recognition of something that's been there all along. In the absence of anything more appropriate, "good for you" will have to suffice.
