The BBC news has just carried an item about how easy it is to piece together information online to form a complete profile and track down who one is. This is, of course, linked to the current media hysteria about paedophiles. Perhaps that's no bad thing.
I just wanted to remind those who are here and who are young that they do need to protect their identities in case of what does seem to be a rare event, the online stalking by a predator who then discovers real life identity.
I am pretty sure this is an inflated danger that is a self perpetuating media hype, but being careful is always wise.
