I just tore through "Just Hit Send", and loved it, though it still seems incomplete. Has anyone actually heard from him in the last year and a half, since he went to the ranch? It'd be great to actually finish the storyline... ;-D

Grasshopper is alive and kicking and as creative as ever. It's just that now it takes much longer for that particular genius to get from his keyboard to your monitor. More is on the way. We must just be patient.

;-D I'm very happy to hear that... I find out later on so many of the longer stories that get into my heart and then end abruptly that the author has passed away, or has just fallen off the face of the earth (figuratively speaking). (Dannell Lites, Lavender Quill, etc.)

And... it *has* been a year and a half since any updates in Grasshopper's section, so I REALLY look forward to more of his stories! (But, knowing it's on its way, I can be patient...) Wink

He has an objective, which is to connect the start of JHS with the end of it. The end is there, and the start is there, there is just some middle that is troubling him to get right.

To help with his inspiration he's writing something hard edged and new

Jamie is a special person and an extremely talented author, and I must confess that I miss him and the opportunity to correspond with him. Have you indeed heard from him recently?

I know of his plans to continue "Just Hit Send" to the time-frame of "Summerfire" and have always looked forward to reading that. I really miss JD and the rest of the extended family on the beach.

Is his IOMFATS email still active? If so, do you think he checks it? I would really like to say HI to him and hear about his school year and travels.

I understand that Grasshopper still checks the board and is still in touch with certain members. I know he has been very busy with his online school efforts and that takes up a lot of his time. Grasshopper is a great talent and I hold his friendship very dear. He is special even if he doesnt realize it.

Roger, I agree with you about Grasshopper's talents. His stories have touched my emotions like no other stories have, and I do hope that we will see more from him.
