I am concerned if lyrics are posted regularly that they are not protected by copyright. I have turned a blind eye to lyric posting in the past because contributors to this board are responsible for their own actions, and any breach of copyright is their own responsibility. I can't take this stance with an announcement that lyrics will be posted regularly.

Please will all contributors look carefully at issues like copyright when posting items like lyrics and pictures here.

A small quotation, such as my signature, properly attributed, is fine. A full quotation of a song lyric (etc) breaches copyright law and can get the site deleted by our ISP.
