Do you agree or disagree with this statement
Happy is what happens when all your dreams come true
There's a kind of a sort...cost
There's a couple of things get...lost
There are bridges you cross you didn't know you'd cross until you've crossed

I disagree......
Spoiled is what happens whan all dreams are fullfilled.
Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

Happiness is being content with your life. Its knowing the choices you have made were good ones.
If you stand for Freedom, but you wont stand for war, then you dont stand for anything worth fighting for.

You expressed it perfectly Roger, no more words are needed.

Happiness is having my lover wrap his arms around me and tell me he loves me. Its knowing hes there to share life with me When we first admitted we loved each other he ask me "Life is a long road. Will you walk it with me?" Hand in hand were going to walk thru life. Thats happiness.
Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you......

That explains volumes to me....
I guess I miss on both counts....

I disagree.
Happy is when you are happy. Not everyone whose every dream comes true becomes happy. King Midas had a pretty tough time.

Having all your dreams come true doesn't work - it simply launches a new set of dreams.
I'd advise being forgetful about yesterday, being content with today and avoiding even thinking about tomorrow.
Before I'm attacked by our resident pedants (and THEY know who they are!), that's intended to be taken philosophically rather than literally.
Essentially, try not to live too much in the past, don't blame the world for the way things are today, and keep your hopes for the future realistic; if you climb a step higher tomorrow, you can add an extra step to your hopes. In the Balkans they have a proverb which translates something like: 'Even a path a thousand miles long starts with a first step'. Just don't worry to much about the next step until you've taken the first.
I know that all sounds twee (that's because it IS twee!), but it's worth a thought!
For a' that an' a' that,
It's comin' yet for a' that,
That man tae man, the worrld o'er
Shall brithers be, for a' that.

The paradox has often been noted that the United States, founded in secularism, is now the most religiose country in Christendom, while England, with an established church headed by its constitutional monarch, is among the least. (Richard Dawkins, 2006)

Dear cossie, I wasn't going to attack you, but since you insist:
"BOO!"

I dream of boys with big bulges in their trousers,
Never of girls with big bulges in their blouses.
…and look forward to meeting you in Cóito.
