And there are few things so damning and ghastly as a lack of sympathy and "I thought it all along."

I can't get a sense of proportion here. And I have serious doubts I did the right thing.

I would really appreciate a chance to talk to someone about it.

This thing is undoable after you have given it a chance. I'm loading MSN messenger at present.

In case others are worried, David and I chatted a long while earlier. He's fine, just had a bad day.

Good. I sent him a message, but he never responded.
Glad to hear from Timmy that you're feeling OK.  [message #46115 is a reply to message #46107] Tue, 16 October 2007 02:56 Go to previous messageGo to next message

Sorry I wasn't around at 7.00 last night. I don't want to intrude, but feel free to e-mail if it would help.

In retrospect last night was not a good time to be making decisions, as I had just had a very nasty shock. I expect something could have been worked out, if I had explained the problem, and if so today would have been all right.

However I look at it, I don't think I can see it as anything other than premature. Fuck.
