i checked my registration date to this board and is dated back to Sep 25th 2003. I didn't realized i've been visiting this site for that long. I had just turned 16 (birthday is sep 12).
i'm sure if i look around i'll find the entry i made in the Guesbook right after i finished reading Chris and Nigel. how cute

Gee wow. Four years of hair-splitting, endless and infinitely painstaking pedantic corrections to every posting, arguments, and the sarcasm and maliciousness disguised as "the British sense of humor." How have you been able to bear it all?
Oh, yeah, sorry... I guess I should have written "the British sense of humour." That should spare me at least one corrective posting.

Eldon old boy, you'll give all us yanks a bad name, and mine is not in too good a shape as it is. Now say you're sorry.

I think it's so cool that you knew when you were a little, little boy that you were attracted to other boys. It's something I came to realize in myself only this year. I think I "knew" there was something there in me, but only this summer, with Jon, did it "come out." We've known each other since before kindergarten. Our fathers were best friends growing up too.
In coastal North Carolina there aren't a lot of gay or bi opportunites and we are both looking forward to going away to college next year. It would be interesting to hear about growing up gay in the last half century. Even as repressed as we feel here sometimes I bet it was lots different then, even in large cities.

how did it bear it all?
i have no idea. used to be a lot crazier when i started snooping around. some crazy drama and a lot more active board for sure. but it was cool. my rule of thumb always was... post when necessary and respect everybody's opinion. i'm not going to change theirs and they ain't changing mine. end of story.
nice to hear different points of view from time to time. reason why i kept coming back other than the stories which are all soo good
anyways... have a great day. time to party... Hollywood style. actually gay hollywood style hahaha.

Always remember the "u" Like color. We spell it with a U. "Culor". See?
If your system is logical (!) it should be "culler", but taint.
Which is quite another thing and just behind the cohones, of course.

There is, in fact, no obligation to bear it, Eldon...

while i've never visited North Carolina... i did lived in Atlanta, Georgia for two years. so i can understand how you might feel about living on that side of the country. there are so many things out there. gay life in LA is very interest if i might add. Right now i'm heading to one of the gayest parties in town. its just an excuse for gay guys to dress all slutty ya know. not that some even try haha.
but yea, definately, move away and explore different cities. the oportunities are endless.
me loves to travel.
