When I take my dog for a walk I use small, black plastic bags to collect the droppings she occasionally leaves behind. Maybe they would be suitable for human use, too. In an emergency situation a toilet may seem to be very far away.

While the sign may LOOK like it is pointing to the building off in the distance in actuality, it is pointing to the edge of the wall.....
One is expected to bare all, hang it over and offer a dead drop fall to the gods of the mountain.
All one must watch out for is the abrupt updraft......
Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

Almost the same thing our dad warned us about when we learnt how to behave in a boat without a porta-potty. We learnt pretty fast the disadvantages of peeing up against the wind. On the other hand, when sitting on the gunwale we were often awarded the luxury of an automatic flush.

One thing I learned as a youngster when camping. Don't pee on a campfire while the smoke is drifting towards you, it can really make you nauseous! ::-)
