Hi Josh,
The world has been changing since it broke away from the sun.
You can be aware of the hurt in this world, but thier is more love and happiness than hurt.
I think we forget about mother nature, it still applies to humans today although we try not to let it.
Ie the healthy(perfect) survive that is natures way, the imperfect do not.
So my sum nation is yes be aware of the sadness in the world but be aware of the beauty & happiness. positive & negative. only my opinion.
People die, but new life is born.
life is to enjoy.

Great song Josh, It's been a long time since I read a song that I truely connected to and this reminds me so much of...
I'll just say that I used to write songs too, each song representing me at a certain point of my life. But then I lost most of them due to some unexpected accidents. You have given me back something I thought lost.
