Daer Josh,

May anyone join in? I think that when I was 19 I had never been kissed either. And before I was 21 (December 1955) I had had sex with only four people and one of those was a quick fumble in the bushes and never repeated.

And all homosexual acts were illegal and could be punished by imprisonment.

My goodness you are better off now and have access to the internet together with sites like this and such things as jackinworld and all the story sites not to mention the pictures. It's really hard even for me to imagine how repressed the world was then.

The consequence of the much greater knowledge, acceptability and easiness today is that young people have to be so much more cautious and it isn't just aids I'm thinking about. In those days if one could find anyone who was incautious enough to let you see that they were 'available' they were taking a huge risk and so the chances of finding a partner who was compatible was much less than it is today and the chances of finding someone who you could spend your life with were very small. It's still not easy - but nowadays it is possible and I wish you the best of luck.

Love
Anthony

Hi Anthony. Nice to meet you.

I still havent been kissed yet. And I don't think I ever will be. That's just my preference. Also, I'll never have sex either. I don't care about being a 'virgin.' Personally, I think the label is annoying slightly.

I don't think homosexual acts should be a cause of imprisonment. Personally, I think that's bullcrap. There are a lot 'worse' things then being 'gay.' I consider the word 'gay' to be a label people place on you who have nothing better to do with their time. It's annoying.

I think the internet is good as a sort of counsillor for young LBGT people. However, I despise that there are porn sites all over the internet. That makes me angry, and I find it disgusting.. I'm not trying to be offensive, just blunt. Sorry if that offends anyone. Gomenasai.

I wonder why people decided to label AIDS as the 'gay man's disease' or what not. That was really stupid, and people are really stupid for being so close minded.

Hopefully one day, we'll all be able to get along with everyone.

*hugs* Thanks for commenting.

~Josh~
