I'm not sure romantic equals sexually motivated. Isn't there more to romance than sex?

I truly believe that having sex (with male or female) when you're just in lust and not at all in love is a big mistake if you're looking for a long lasting relationship. Sex alone can get to be old hat fast. Sex can also get a little old hat in a loving relationship, but if you are truly in love with another person you don't need sex to keep you close and careing. Sex with someone you love is a most wonderful thing, but it's not the glue that holds you together, it's the love. Love and romance go hand in glove. Lustful sex on the other hand tends to make people play a deceptive/romantic kind of game, but when the truth of the lack of feeling and careing is fully exposed there's nothing left, not even ashes.

Well, Uncle Jim, I think that your testimony takes the palm for romanticism!
