Yay! Eldon re-registered here! He was mad about the fighting and all the bickering, and especially mad at one particular person who never had anything good to say about anything, so he left for a while, but now he told me he's re-registered. That one person seems to have left the forum now and I can't say I'll miss him either.

I'm sorry Eldon left for that reason and I am glad he is back for his own reasons.

I do want to pick holes, though, in what you just said. I will miss the person who appears to have left, if he has left. It is the behaviour I am happy to lose, though, not the person.

That reinforces the fact that I am not on any level wanted here......

Rest assured..... you get your wish!

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...
This upsets me  [message #48122 is a reply to message #48118] Tue, 08 January 2008 16:30 Go to previous message

I am not replying to Marc in particular, I am replying to the thread in general.

Once I have replied I will close the thread. I'm fed up with rows and attacks and disappointments.

Let's get this abundantly clear, please. That Eldon is back is a good thing, because he wants to be here.

Poking Marc with a stick was not a good thing. That type of thing must stop. How can a behaviour improve if folks always poke at it.

Marc's reply, while understandable, and actually not at all abusive, was also a thing I would prefer not to have had posted.

So, in order to take a different tack, and to seek to prevent a row, I am closing what should have been a pleasant thread.
