On fire!

Fire presses through the night,
The Cold sweat from your brow tingles me.
Life anew, starting over, to be new, polished to shine.

Gardens of light fill the night sky,
Shimmering with beauty.
With eyes open, I take a step and wonder how it came to this.

Regardless, don't die.
Save all the good times.
Happy.
That's all I want.

Save a smile for when you're down.
Don't forget.
Keep the memories inside.
To give you a smile, when you need one.

Frankly, we think such laws are silly. They do young people more harm than good. How can you possibly ask questions on a gay forum without coming out to your parents if you need consent?
