Hullo,
I moved... Well a gang of guys from the university moved me.... They showed up friday afternoon while I was sitting at my usual place in the learning center soliciting everyone that passed by, asking if they wanted a pretty little Kittykat.... thats her name.... what can i say, i'm gay....
Well, they gathered me up at 2pm, we took about half or more friday, saturday they showed up yet again to finish carrying the heave furniture and electronics......
it is not easy to go from a 9 room appartment with a full basement to a 1 bedroom flat... I am however a master of getting 8 pounds of shit in a 3 pound bag so at least i will have all my treasures with me.... when it is all done and arranged I will do some piccys .....
A nice girl called her dad and they negotiated the changing of the litter box and with much deliberation they decided to take my baby..... at noon saturday two of the guys took her to her new home.... I was too close to bawling my eyes out to go myself.....
Kittykat met her new roommate, a boy cat so I guess she got some last night.... My poor baby.....
I will unpack the kitchen tomorow...... I have an incredible quantity of kitchen... pots, pans, gadgets, and appliances.... this part scares me.....
LOL
Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

I've heard about moving mountains, but in your case it doesn't seem to be far from the truth!
I'm glad the uni guys gave you so much help - but I'm just as glad that I'm a few thousand miles away while you organise your new kitchen! Glad, too, that Kittykat has a new home - and hey, she deserves her fun - I've never yet been introduced to a gay cat of either sex!
Sorry I couldn't visit with the bottle of wine and apple pie - but the thought was there!
For a' that an' a' that,
It's comin' yet for a' that,
That man tae man, the worrld o'er
Shall brithers be, for a' that.

I don't have much to say in response, but just wanted to know that I'm glad for you.

Yes Marc,
I believe it is established somewhere that moving is the second most stressful thing that people usually do. When we came here we thought we'd get it straight in five years. Now it is sixteen years later and I think we are going backwards. (Sylvia *knows* we are and fights a pretty good rearguard).
It sounds as if you cook. Good so do I. Make something delicious and not too fattening and comfort yourself with that.
Love,
Anthony

Marc, you had me in stitches. Thanks for that.
Now for the fun part... setting up house.

You cooking dinner for the guys that help you moved, too?
You should have them over!
