A human so attached to another...
why does it seem that your entire heart and soul can be{and in my case with tony is} consumed with a need to protect and shield them from life?

In reality, you can't really protect him or shield him from life. To do so would preclude any opportunity for him to grow.

All you can do is ride through life with him, holding his hand, and telling him that youre there and everything will be alright.

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

It's a mysterious mixture of hormonic chemistry and human psychology. And, Jordan, that leaves you none the wiser, so stop worrying about it and just enjoy it. There are many, many human beings who would love to be in your situation.

The paradox has often been noted that the United States, founded in secularism, is now the most religiose country in Christendom, while England, with an established church headed by its constitutional monarch, is among the least. (Richard Dawkins, 2006)
