Dear Michael,
I like the look of your misty mountains - I've never been to Arizona.
Where did you live in Bath and West London?
I know both places fairly well and might even know the street.

Dear Michael,
I've played croquet in the recreation ground (entrance via Pulteney Mews which is a turning out of Vane St.) and maybe you could even see the croquet courts from that flat. Pity you aren't there now.
I had to find the others on the map: I didn't know either of them although I even worked in Hounslow for a year or so. But from the map they look like ordinary suburban streets. There is a house for rent in Spencer Ave at £1,600 per calendar month!
Love,
Anthony

While we're on the subject, here's one of the road in which I live. (My house is just out of shot to the left; the cedar is ours.)
I would ask you to guess the county, but I guess it's pretty obvious.
Edit -- also the view from my bedroom window.

That picture brings back so many good memories.....
So many rides in the countryside only to get hopelessly lost.....
Damn I miss that.....
Thanks David.

Marc, how did you get lost anywhere in the British Isles when they have those amazing Ordnance Survey maps?::-)

And it's the prettiest part of Kentucky too. And you're the cutest boy there.

Michael, I have always loved those Saguaro cactii. Forgive the spelling if it's incorrect. The West has such grand scenery and dramatic vegetation. We're pretty boring by comparison. Your picture makes a nice desktop picture, thanks! This view of the Sound makes a nice desktop too.

Well, On weekends Rick and I would set out early on saturday morning with no plan other than a direction and an overnight bag.
We anjoyed the spontaineous nature of just driving with no place in particular in mind. We never traveled with maps..... we both decided early on that maps would only get in the way of our fun.
When we completed our schooling in the UK we took 14+ months to discover Europe in much the same way, although we did use maps somewhat so we could at least keep track of where we were.
And anyhow, maps are alot like directions, real men never read them... LOL

Just being my silly self again. But does that mean you were up that well known creek without a paddle? ;-D

Across the road and down a small trail from my house....
I really take living on the beach for granted.

Look at this tree. I cannot make it blossom when it suits me nor make it bear fruit before its time [...] No matter what you do, that seed will grow to be a peach tree. You may wish for an apple or an orange, but you will get a peach.

Shame on you Saben. You shouldn't take such beauty for granted.
I too live next to a body of water, a lake in my instance, and I know that one developes a special relationship with it. I no longer can imagin not living next to water.
What a beautiful sunset you've captured!

I didn't capture it- Ryan's mum's friend did!
This summer I probably went swimming at the beach less than if I didn't live near it!
I still do go for walks along the beach, though. But far from often enough.
I love it, but despite being a stone's throw away I always seem to forget to visit it.
I still get the closeness, though. My train to Uni still winds it way along tracks nearby to the water.
I think I'll miss it if I ever move away, more than I realise now. Now, it's just there.

Dear Saben,
I'd be surprised if you didn't miss it. I'm sure I would.
