I have just been helping Josh (our Josh here, not the author on the site) with some areas of story writing. Of course I have just one opinion, and a budding author needs to distill many opinions into defining a style, and into writing flowing tales.

I know he would appreciate hearing from others and choosing whom else to ask for advice. He wants to turn his raw talent into something more.

What I don't want to do is to make this a public process. I was wondering if those who feel able to offer him some small help would make themselves known to him in some manner?

When you help, please remember, like I tried, that we are none of us right. We simply have ideas. It is up the Josh to choose which ideas he finds useful.
