I've written this poem while listening to Utada Hikaru's song, COLORS. I hope you like it, and like the song too. I'll post a link for it now:

Title: Incomplete Portrait
Author: Joshua Ward
Date: April 09, 2008
Colour
Mistaken times,
Of the broken world of past,
Reminiscing with the present,
Painting the pallet of the future.
Blinded by many shades of Grey,
We mix ourselves with our surroundings
And paint ourselves in a variety of tones.
Blue mixed with black,
The concept is unreal, yet promises the unknown.
Now painting along each brush stroke, I strive for something new.
A masterpiece, hardly.
Conceptual insecurities, Beauty has many faces.
Hearts of many collide, a cataclism of red roses, as butterflies flutter about.
Capture the feeling, let the moment last forever.
Signed,
~The Artist~

I have heard this song once before, Josh. You have made a little more beautiful. Thanks for sharing this with us.

There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love. Washington Irving

You're welcome Marco. I'm glad you like it. I still think the actual song is better though.
