Thank you Pat for sharing that with with us. I found it to be a very interesting article. The small points are what are truely revealing: the lack of women involved; the lack of minorities; the lack of theology in the message. Unfortunately "rule by fear" is not new to man and not new to religion. Exposure to this can only help reduce it's growth.

I can't keep assuming people already know what extreme social conservatives are trying to do anymore. America is doomed if we don't shut them down they are too irrational to be trusted in positions of power. I don't want to watch the country I've lived in all my 22 years to be corrupted by crazy people! I couldn't do anything when they first came to power, but if I can help someone see the danger they represent I've done more than most people in the United States. It is good not to be alone.

Well, when the local Bank of Scotland teamed up with Pat Robertson I closed my account and asked for an apology. I've not yet had it. I gather they had a lot of flak from other people too.
