I expect simple behaviours here. Friendship, and love. Any advice should be from the perspective of the person asking, not the person giving! We have had to make new membership moderated to combat the huge number of spammers who register
I sympathise about the cost of education. The state schools in Bristol are so bad that only two (out of well over twenty) reach the national average (and the national average is nothing to shout about). One of the two is for christians and hypocrites - parents who are willing to attend church to get a place. The other is so oversubscribed that every year people in its catchment area fail to get a place and the grandchildren live too far away. So we have to pay for private education for the grandchildren. We grandparents are mortgaging the house for that purpose!
Bringing up children is the most important thing anyone ever does.
My daughter Emily got her Open University degree in 2006. We all dressed up in our academic finery to support her at the ceremony. I'll try to attach a picture.
I hope she finds what happiness a good education will show her.
Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...
