I wanted to invite you (TIM) and anyone from your board to participate in an intelligent (I hope) discussion about the film L.I.E. if you've seen it.

It's posted on crzyhouse by me.

Crzy House

It's an open discussion about the characters and their motives - not an open forum about "boy lovers" (especially since the young character in this film is nearly 16). As I said, its not a b.l. discussion but its a start - a discussion - a FRIENDLY discussion about the characters and the film in general and we'll see if an intelligent discussion can be conducted without name calling or personal insults (which aren't allowed on crzy house anyway.)

I don't know that that many people have even seen the film. It is just now available for rental here (the U.S.) But if you have seen it, I welcome your impressions and opinions. It is a very powerful film in my opinion. Very thought provoking.

After e-mailing Tim, he invited me to post this notice on his board. Thanks Tim.

*hugs*

~Lance

Even if it is a fly-by and he won't read this Wink. It's a cool place if you haven't been there but much too political and too much sheer volume for me.

There is a "centerfolds" of a participant once in awhile, which is cool for people whose rantings I've been reading for awhile but never seen. That would be head & shoulders shots, btw. Oh, also some tatoo pics, but I don't care for tatoos. But I did meet a nice lady there, Kris. Or was that in Duckland?

Oh, and the wallpaper is a bit too distracting for me and hard to explain if my kids are sharing the couch with me. Yes, it is Lance himself shirtless during a concert. Yes, this is THE "slutty rawk star" (tm?) but not actually slutty as far as I can see. Not quite as hard (ahem) as Tim's stories page, though!

Doh - Now someone needs to loan smith a ladder again.

I,of course, needed to know what this post was all
about and ventured away. I learned not much, so I
went to Amazon to read the synopsis and the reviews.
L.I.E. stands for Long Island Expressway and other
than that interesting fact,I'm just gonna let this
film slide on by me. No thanks.

Anyone have a ladder I can borrow??

You're lazy, Tim has no will power - am I in good company or what? Okay, I'm too lazy to make a link since I can't do it from memory, but his MB is http://www.voy.com/12478/ if that gets you started. Prolly in the header somewhere, or on his web site. Too lazy to look.

If you don't get married (to a housework-challenged person) and have kids you'd have more energy than me, at least!

Ashley I do hope you have kids one day somehow - you would make an excellent father I am sure. As any of us can tell you, it's the toughest "job" there is (well, I dunno about the military, but it's a lifetime commitment) and sometimes requires all you can give - but it is also so rewarding in so many ways. Mostly it's just time, though, not true laziness - I have houseguests for a few days, am ACTUALLY working (heh heh) and only get a few minutes on the puter at at time these days.

* H U G * Sorry I haven't found anything worth posting at your board for awhile, but I do check every few days and see if there is anything I can make snide comments about!
