Please be very careful about the information you give out. While the younger folk here are very self confident, it is they who are most vulnerable to being outed because they have, in general, the most to lose, and are, in general, more likely to be the objects of lust than we old goats.
From an email sent to me carelessly I have, after less than 5 minutes of work, identified with precision the home address of someone, together with phone number. That is not good if privacy were required, not good at all.
Wherever we go on the net we leave traces. Those traces can identify us easily. If we wish to be anonymous then we need to leave a far lighter footprint.
Being "out and proud" is not a bundle of laughs unless one is entirely prepared for it. It may affect job prospects, for example. So please be careful.

I've tooted that horn to so many young people, Timmy. Posting to a forum thousands of miles from your home makes you feel safe. But there are people with even greater hacking experience than Timmy that can trace you down and know EVERYTHING about you in a very short time. Unless you are "out" to your parents and your school, you are subject to blackmail by these a**holes. Follow these simple rules:
1- Use an alias name whenever you post.
2- Never give even your home state much less your city.
3- Goggle "proxy servers" and learn how to use one. Otherwise you are traceable to a degree you wouldn't imagine.
4- Have a separate email account for your alias name.
5- Re-read your post before you hit the send button. Ask yourself if you've given away information that could come back to haunt you.
It really sucks that a young person has to take these kinds of precautions. But it is, unfortunately, the world we live in. And if your purpose in posting to this and other such forums is to gain some insight to yourself and your sexuality, you might want to read my post to this forum:
