Good morning all. how are we? I'm alright. Bored out of my mind. It's 9:16AM.
I hope I'm not offending anyone by posting this link, and if I do, my apologies.
Can I be the first to say "What the heck is wrong?" and also "Why is it happening?
I know that there are TONS amoung TONS of people who hate others because their gay. It's a fact. Though of all the reasons to hate or dislike someone, how come it's because of that reason?
It's not like we all dress up in skirts walking down Pride avenue (made-up avenue for this convo with you all) singing songs and picking roses.
What's so totally and OBSENELY! wrong about bieng gay? We dont go up to the *'straight'* people and say "BURN IN HELL!" or anything like taht, so why do they do it to us? It completely boggles my mind.
I guess though, this is nothing new. People have always disliked others since the beginning of time. Maybe this whole hate thing is going to continue until the world dies out, who knows? But even so, shouldn't we try to be friends with those who hate us? It's good to know your enemy I guess at times.
I apologize for the site. It's now making me depressed.. There:) I switched tabs and am now at the board again. Yay.
Why do people hate us? Even though I could say a lot of things, and I mean a LOT! of things to offend straight people, I wont. Because if I do that, then I'll be spreading hatred.
I guess I'm just tired of anyone being hated for any reason. It's not right at all, and there's no reason anyone can give to justify hating someone.
I'm not particularly emotional right now, in case you guys are wondering. My right foot keeps shaking though, I'll stop it in a few.
Well, at least one thing good comes out of this. I have you guys. The board, Timmy, everyone. We all have eachother to turn to when times get tough. I think that's a good thing. If nothing else, at least we can make eachtoher laugh or smile. It's a good feeling.
Hopefully I don't get in trouble for this post. There's just a nagging thought in the back of my head that says that I will. I apologize again if I've offended anyone.
I truly do love you all.
*hugs*

Josh, that is the good thing about this board. We can air out our feelings and still feel loved here.

The thing that they fear is that they can;t recognise us. We are the same race, same religions, same everything. They can;t tell us apart, so they hate us "speculatively"

Not entirely true... They can tell quite often when they see them...
There are many many many many gay people that does not take a lot of brain power to recognize them as gay.
They hate because their hate makes them feel superior...
They kill because it is an exhibit in their superiority...
Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

Hey Micheal. *hugs*
If people are taught to hate, then their going to hate. But that's.. not right. People should at least on some level, be at least curious about their own sex and sexuality. We should all be able to just get along.
Man has hated, and loved since the beginning of time. Fear of the unknown causes people to hate, and so it's the same with us. They hate us because they don't understand us, yet they make no efforts to get to know us. It's sad.
I think I'll write a poem, since you've brought one up.
Teach me the ways of the world you know
Teach me how to just let go
Teach me how to feel and love
Teach me from the stars above
Call me from the morning dawn
From the mountaintops and the moon's gown
Call me if it's just to talk
maybe then we can go for a walk
If I am such a disease,
A disgrace, abomination, yes I've been called these;
By you, through the words you speak
Teaching your children to love and to hate
You're slowly killing me, the pain is just too great
Are you proud? Get to know me
You'll see that there's a lot more to me
Then what they taught you when you were a child
Maybe I can show you a world above the clouds
Just take my hand and be my friend,
Sex doesn't matter, that's not what it's about
I want to go to a place where you won't drown me out
Who I sleep with, who I love, is written in the stars above
There's more to a man then what the church people taught
I'm not that different, same eyes and same skin
My friends and loves are always within
To take and to talk to, wherever I go
I'm not that different, take my hand and I will show
You a world that's full of love
Man to man, or man to woman, and woman to woman too
Love is all that it comes down to
So now I ask you, stranger of mine
It is too much to have a friend, despite what you learned at nine?
I'm not gonna bite you, just be your friend
And a friend, is someone whose with you to the end
~So take my hand..~
And that's it. Hope you all like it. It's basically about a gay person and a straight person becoming friends. And that's really all we can ask for, is to be friends with everyone, so we wont have anyone to hate.
Maybe that's too much to ask for in this day and age, who knows?
Hopefully, one day we can all be friends.
~Josh~
