Today i decided to get out of the house. I wanted to breath some fresh air, drive around, maybe, an i mean a big maybe, have a pleasant conversation with someone.
Unlike most of my typical days off, today i decided to wake up early. I woke up around 9am; its early in my world, but i hope you get the idea that i'm not a morning person. It takes a whole infantry to make me get out of bed when i know i don't have to. On the other side of the bed, my boyfriend was still sleeping as we went to sleep late last night. Just don't ask why, believe me, it's a long story. Anyways, i kissed him good morning and he just looked at me with the most evil eyes and rolled over basically telling me to fuck off. Not really, but sometimes he can be really mean when he wakes up. I just laughed and proceeded to start my new day.
By now i had two hours to get ready. I made an appointment to cut my hair. It was about time i did it because it was getting difficult to style. Short hair, yup, that's what i like. I made the appointment with the same hairdresser. Last time i cut my hair with him, i left the place completely satisfied. I felt hot. In order to understand this phenomenon, you will have to get in the mind of a 20 year old, more specifically, an unsecured 20 year old. Well that's not important right now, the point is i had to hurry up, make breakfast, get ready and leave the house. It was a beautiful day. Don't let it fool you though, the weather here can change in an hour. I decided i was going to enjoy my day anyway.
I made it to my appointment on time. I was so proud of myself. You should be too if you are someone that knows me. The hair cut was painless and once again, he did exactly what i wanted. I felt hot once again. Here i was, walking down the street feeling like a diva. All eyes were on me. Radiant black hair, tight blue jeans, black t-shirt, and to top it off, flip flops where all the pieces that made up my outfit for the day. I could not have felt any better. Not too bad considering i live in the south.
You don't love someone because they are beautiful, they are beautiful because you love them.

Well, M,
I think you are really lucky to be able to wake up next to your boyfriend. What's all this fuss over a haircut? (I get my hair cut 3 or 4 times a year when it gets so long it irritates me.) You didn't get to the drive around or the conversation. As your post was 01:08 on 24 I guess you woke up on Friday and I'm curious how you had no work. Are you at college with no commitments on a Friday morning?
You say you are insecure. You don't sound it to me so, again, I'm curious to know what makes you say that?
On Friday, I got out of bed at 7 am and made a pot of tea and brought it back upstairs to bed (2 cups, one for my wife) and then got in bed again and dozed until about 8. She poured another cup after about half an hour and then I went and showered while she had a bath. Then I walked down the road with her to buy a newspaper and a loaf of bread.
We sat at computers most of the morning. I was reading a story by Steven Keiths and dealing with a lot of email. I went to practise croquet from 1:30 to 3:45 and then I picked up grandson Tom from school and Sylvia from home and went to his house where we made supper for him & his mother and sister who got there about 6. (His father was working late at the bank.) and then we took him to a youth club at 7:30 and collected him from there and took him home at 9. Sylvia went to bed at 9:30 and I did at 11.
My excuse is that you gave me a bit of your day and I was curious about the rest of it so I gave you all of mine. Don't ask for more detail unless you have lots of spare time to read it!
Love,
Anthony
