Got the house settled, replaced the kitchen floor and the bath floor and almost thru painting. Be moving in a bit at a time the rest of this month and june. Cant believe I got this deal. 1500 square feet and a half acher yard fenced in and got it for 58,000.00. The city has it appraised at 114 thousand.

Going to take off for Florida for a week to get some rest. Love everybody.

Congratulations, Roger!
It's a lot of work, but very rewarding.
You deserve a week off in Florida.
Isn't it getting terribly hot down there?
Hopefully, you will have access to a swimming pool or a beautiful beach.

Dear Roger,

You remind me of our first house. When we moved in we had half the kitchen floor (we built a new one so as to eliminate the steps down and the cold tile floor and there was a hole in the sitting room where the floor had rotted through where a drain was blocked.

My goodness it was a lot of work - but we bought it in 1964 for £5400 and sold it in 1997 for £252000 - so you could say it was worth it!

I wish you the best of luck with yours.

Anthony
