That was a sweet vid, Josh, thank you. Have you ever noticed the preponderance of blond headed people in Japanese anime? Take Narato as an example. I have the feeling that if any blond guys that lack boyfriends were to move to Japan... wooo - look out! Very Happy

Haha.

Hey Paul. *hugs*

Personally, I love the anime Naruto, and have a few volumes of the manga. There are several selective pairings in Naruto, so many people choose to put Naruto with Gaara or Sasuke (I apologize for those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about^^') So it's quite interesting:)

Jeff liked the song so much we went out and hunted it up. Most people are not aware that the Japanese do a lot of boy/boy anime and comics. I understand that its mostly the women who buy them, go figure.

Jeff said he especially likes the part in the song where it talks about how you smell. If were laying on the couch or on the floor Jeff will stick his nose in my hair and I can hear him breathing in. He says I smell like fresh grass. Boys do smell good.

Shonen-ai is also boy on boy. The difference is age. Yaoi is very young boy on boy or man on young boy. Shonen-ai tends to be older teens and men in their 20s. Yaoi is also refered to as Shotakon, (in english "boy complex).

You've reversed it Curtis^^

Shonen-ai tends to be the younger boy/boy couples. Yaoi tends to lean towards the man/man relationships. Shota or shotakon can be two things; young (8-10) boys in a relationship, and shotakon can also be a boy and a man relationship. Loveless does fall under this category as well. Ritsuka is 12 and Soubi is 20, so it's the same thing. Though in the Loveless anime there is no hardcore sex scenes in the show. I imagine if there were, you'd have to be 19 or 20 to buy it.

And on the subject, I have watched shotakon anime with extremely graphic sex scenes, though I wont tell you which ones cause A - I don't want to creep anyone else out and B - No one should watch graphic scenes. That's just my view on the subject.

I apologize if I've gone over the line in this post.

Sorry guess I got it backwards. I didnt know there were any Shotakon anime, but I guess there is. I was aware that there was Shotakon comics. I dont think you went to far. Were just discussing Japanese anime and that is part of it.
