CALMNESS IN OUR LIVES
I am passing this on to you because it definitely works, and we could all use a little more calmness in our lives.
By following simple advice heard on the Dr. Phil show, you too can find inner peace.
Dr. Phil proclaimed, "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and have never finished."
So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Jack Daniels, a bottle of Johnny Walker Black, a bottle of Amarula Cream, a bottle of KWV, a package of Tennis Biscuits, the rest of the chocolate cake, some Doritos and a box of Lunch Bars.
You have no idea how freaking good I feel.

Yes, Michael,
I too am very suspicious of people who offer to work on your mind to make you feel better. They are only one step from drugs that make you happy.
A question that I used to pose to my friends was "If you had a button you could press to make you feel blissfully happy for ever, would you press it?"
I think what it shows is that inner peace and happiness isn't everything we want.
And maybe the process of growing up is gradually realising what we want and finding out something about how to get some of it.
And the business of bringing up children is helping them on that voyage of discovery and not choosing for them.
What do the rest of you think?

I gather that in your case inner peace comes with a weekend in jail for DUI and ten new pounds of weight. LOL
