Fresh picked of course.....

Roasted?

Steemed?

Boiled?

What's your favorite?

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

hahahaha..... to roast corn you take the cob, with the leaves still attached and soak them in water for an hour or so....

Then you place the cobs, leaves still in place, on the grill and roast until the outer leaves are well chared......

Then you fold back the leaves, wrap them in a little foil to make a handle, add butter and salt as desired, and go for it... it is very yummy.

As for steaming... well its like any other steamed vegie.

I always pull the covering leaves back an remove the silk then recover the corn wirh the leaves, soak and roast. I like corn that has been steamed for about 20 minutes too. It seems to have more flavor than when boiled. I like yellow corn best.

My parents go to this farm that sells bi corn. Very sweet and tastes good steamed if you don't leave them in too long, about 15 min.
