Who is Mel White?

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

Of course I could.

But you brought it up so I figured I'd just ask you.

Mel White is a gay Christian preacher who when he was married and at the beginning of the Religious Right's movement worked beside the leaders of the Religious Right as a ghost writer for people like Falwell. But now is trying to help America stop the Religious Radicals from gaining full uncontested power over the government, and trying to help gay people gain social acceptance. That is as simple as I can explain him.

Very nice article. This shows that there are people who understand and/or try to understand. The only problem of this world is that you see the minority which is loud and therefore you overlook the majority that does not condemn you. Take a football match. There are let's say 20 000 people in the audience, and there happens to be a large fight between supporters of the teams. 100 for one side and 100 for another. Most of the eople withdraw from any frictions, but what you see is the fight of that hateful minority. I think this is the same. Most people either support or simply don't mind. The flames come from those who hide their doubts and imperfection behind the hate to people, who are all the same human beings, albeit different in details. It makes me sick...
