Hi, Nigel,

I keep meaning to ask you why you chose that avatar - or is it a photograph of you? Are you or were you a ballet dancer? One of my friends in the BBC was Cormac Rigby (presentation editor of Radio 3) who was a patron for a charity for such people.

BTW my avatar, should you ask is just a photo of me.

Hi Anthony!

The avatar does not do the photo or the boy justice. Oddly, although the original is in colour, I prefer the black and white copy. And I have the front view as well.

I chose it because the boy is sheer beauty (IMO) and I wanted to share it in a small way. I won't post the full size version as I think it would be against the spirit of the board.
