Recently a sentence in Slovak turned up, that I realized I couldn't translate into English so that it keeps its "smoothness".
It is something that means:

Things that are to happen will happen.
What is destined will happen.
Things that should happen will happen.

Is there some sort of an idiom or a metaphor?

Thanks in advance...

Marek

Ooops... so I did most unlike me to do that especially as a lifelong schoolfriend was a lovely dark haired Italian boy with olive complexion and red speedos yes just like a ferrari in fact sleek and fast...
