Those of you that know me on other forums also know that I champion programs that help youth through difficult mental and emotional situations that could lead to suicide. Whereas suicides account for 1.2% of all deaths in the U.S. annually, they comprise 12.8% of all deaths among 15-24 year olds. And there are no statistics about how many of those deaths were due to gender identity issues, but I reason it must be rather high.

Someone has shared a new site with me that has a wealth of information and I thought I'd pass it on. Check out http://www.thesecondwindfund.org/index.html

This is a US site but there are others for the UK. If you're interested and know of any at risk youths, I can provide you with resources for whatever part of the globe you live on.

And while I'm here, I want to wish you all a wonderful holiday.
