I took off my shoes as I entered the hallway
Thousands of miles between the walls, I'm turning red inside
I grab a towel, wash my face, put it away for some other time
If ever I could find what I am looking for..

I needed something, different and real,
Not something that blinded, so I couldn't feel..

I am falling down, the highway
Fall into the danger zone again,
Rip me up, tear me apart on the inside
And I will smile, for a little while
With you

Take me places, take some time
Let me know that I can find, (you)
You're invisible..
Take a lighter, just in case we can't erase the moment
Catch a butterfly, that sign of atonement

Catch me when I fall
I've seen it all, been there done that over one or twice
I've come across that old expression, was it fun?
Life's just begun for you, there's a new life that's waiting for you

Deep in slumber while you wait
I'll find and caress, cause you're the one that knows me best
That's what you said..
But how can I believe you when you
Took away everything..
Anything I ever wanted, thoughts of tempting midnight sex and
It, wasn't right, yet I did it anyway
Caught up in my moment I was so alive..

If only for a moment...
