I want to comment! Who invented those questions? Whoever did should be painted pink and hung out to dry!
I was only able to tick TWO of the supposed advantages. I think it was invented by a very camp dress designer who had spent all weekend between Heaven and the Admiral Duncan.
What about stomach muscles? What about a pretty backside? What about knowing how it feels or knowing how to feel it? What about the prostate? What about rolling his foreskin up and down? What about precum? What about muscles? What about jockstraps? Does nobody consider cock rings? What about sunbathing and skateboarding and surfing? What about dancing and tights and lycra shorts and even zentai? What about tighty whities and form-fitting boxers? And what about the twitch just before it becomes unbearable? And what about the smells and the tastes? What about sniffing armpits and crotches?
I suspect the question-setter wasn't really gay at all - only doubled in spades camp.
Love,
Anthony

But none of those are exclusively gay!

Nor were most of the questions exclusively gay. In combination, however, I do think the topics I listed would be quite a good indicator!
Anyway I am still disappointed at how few of the boxes I got to tick.

Anthony

That's two more than I was able to tick!

Do I deduce, NW, that either you or whoever set the poll questions is somehow on the wrong site?
Or maybe it was just that the questions were nothing to do with being gay?
I'd accept people might have the view that I don't count as properly gay but I really don't think it would be fair to cavil at you.

I'm with Anthony. I would be pushed to tick two of those boxes. I find his list far more interesting and relevant.

It's on the tip of my tongue. Now let me see, where is it? Ah yes, just inside my teeth. So, if I stick it out you can read it!

That's obviously escaped most of us. Probably our fault, not the fault of the pollster.

I really thought my tongue was far enough through my cheek for you to see it without pointing it out.

Plenty of people have! Back when I first came out - around 30 years ago - the more militant members of the gay/student community frequently had a go at me for excessive timidity, conservatism, and "having been brainwashed by hetero-normative ideologies".
That roughly translates as "believing in an age of consent, not really liking casual sex, believing in stable long-term partnerships, and not buying into the idea that penetrative sex is necessarily an exploitative power relationship"
I've always had to struggle to promote acceptance of diversity of tastes, lifestyles and beliefs among gay people as much as - or possibly more than - among straight people!
