Nope - at least, if you happen to be another Poodle. If you're a Chihuahua and they are Standard (rather than miniature) Poodles, it isn't wrong but may be impractical.
Otherwise, usual rules apply IMO: are the other parties capable of giving un-coerced informed consent?

A former pupil of mine regaled us with the story of how her Great Dane bitch was 'covered' by nextdoor's Jack Russell. It led to an abortion as they couldn't risk a dog of Great Dane size with a Jack Russell's attitude.

Is sex with poodles ever wrong? What IS sex with poodles?
People interfere with the reproductive processes of animals every day and have done for centuries. What would make an instance wrong?
The immediate christian answer would no doubt be if you did it for pleasure!
But why would doing it for pleasure or curiosity be a worse motive than doing it for food or medical research?
And who would suffer harm? (Well I did ask 'What IS sex with poodles?) I mean, assuming that no physical damage was done.
There is scope there for both parties to get pleasure from it.
I'd find it hard to condemn all such activity out of hand.
But where are you on this, Timmy? [At least I haven't owned a dog for over fifty years.]

Having spent a period as a breeder of show dogs I can tell you that breeding appears to require substantial human intervention, especially in the "get the stud dog erect" and "Aim the penis at the vagina" departments.
So you end up as a fluffer to the canine world!

Further to the Great Dane / Jack Russell story I did ask questions. The Jack Russell got into the house through the catflap and the Great Dane just lay there and made herself available.
