This just arrived in my inbox:
First Israeli gay man gets ´maternity´ leave
Dear friends,
I am proud to share with you this article which appeared in Israel´s Haaretz newspaper today, covering the story of me becoming the first man in the history of the State of Israel to receive paternity leave! This is yet another small step in the LGBTQ community´s struggle for equal rights. According to Israeli law, Women who give birth are entitled to three months paid leave, covered by Israel´s Social Security. My partner and I became parents through international surrogacy, since Israeli law does not allow for same-sex couples to enter into surrogacy domestically. Today´s recognition of our parenthood for the purpose of paternity leave is a major step towards recognition of the state of our equal standing in parenthood.
Best wishes from Jerusalem,
Yonatan
Success Story-
The Israeli National Insurance Institute authorized Israel´s first-ever "maternity" leave for a male couple on Thursday. Yonatan Gher, director of Jerusalem´s nonprofit Open House Pride and Tolerance organization, has received institute approval of a 64-day leave from work on the occasion of the birth of his biological son, born of a surrogate mother in India. His partner of seven years commenced formal adoption procedures, so that the child will be formally recognized as his as well.

The paradox has often been noted that the United States, founded in secularism, is now the most religiose country in Christendom, while England, with an established church headed by its constitutional monarch, is among the least. (Richard Dawkins, 2006)

Now the interesting question is "just one" or "both"?

Usually only one parent gets maternity leave, so I suppose that only one gets paternity leave.
