I now know what both the left and right ones look like under ultrasound. They are small but perfectly formed!
I have a small cyst on the left one (not the tennis ball one) and a varicocele on each. Neither is worth any form of surgery. Neither is important.
The right one still hurts some. I am instructed to get supportive underpants which may well ease the problem.
The scan itself was unintrusive, and, if I cared about modesty, that was preserved.

all the best with your "supportive underpants"!

As you observed on 1 Dec, Timmy, I regard myself as an expert in supportive underwear (without admitting it goes as far as a fetish).
My objective has always been comfort. I thought I'd found the holy grail with "Le Jock" (slogan - for once it was true - was 'The most comfortable jock you'll ever wear!') but first they got taken over (by Karen Anne Mfg of Falls River, Mass, who prissily changed the name to "Le Jaques" and then their factory burned down and they went out of business! I think Zakk make the most comfortable jockstrap now. But I assume you want briefs or fitted boxers.
For max support (short of a jockstrap - both Slazenger and Gunn & Moore still make Litesome style jockstraps) I'd recommend Hom 'light colours' briefs or boxers. They're nylon with 27% lycra. If you don't want to be held so tight then buy the HO1 in cotton with 6% lycra. If you want to go for straight(!) cotton then I think the best is Eminence, which I discovered in Vince Man's shop in 1954, I think. They still make the same model and as 'tighty whiteys' go they can't be beaten.
Nowadays it seems to me that most men's underwear is designed for the look of it and scant regard for comfort.
Love,
Anthony

Might as well admit it Anthony. You have one heluva men's underwear fetish. I'll bet you have a collection.

Yep, Macky, you are probably right. Takes one to know one. Is that you? I think I'd have liked to meet him whoever he is (was).
But in that case what's the lycra? I mean i've probably got an overwear fetish too! LOL
Well I enjoy them.
Love,
Anthony

Well, yeah, In the past I have acquired some undies, but I am a recovering fetishist.
I'm 13 in the picture, 1964. I've put on a bit of weight since then (you know...gonads not fully grown at that age)

Good to hear that you got support from your local NHS Truss.

I dream of boys with big bulges in their trousers,
Never of girls with big bulges in their blouses.
…and look forward to meeting you in Cóito.

Well, that picture, Macky, could be a fifteen year old too.
My Peter had gingerish hair!
You will find me at about fifteen (maybe fourteen) in Timmy's rogues gallery.
Love,
Anthony

We need support from many sources, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, wives, children, parents, and even the family dog on occasion so why not our under pants?
Good to hear the issue is under control and well in hand. At least you don't have to go nuts over it anymore. ::-)
Think good thoughts,
