Yesterday (Monday) at around 1 pm local time I lost my Internet connection. Because I have VOB I had no landline phone either. I spent the whole of yesterday afternoon and this morning on my mobile with 101 technicians, both from my ISP and from the cable company. The cable company sent a technician who changed the modem - to no avail. Eventually, and in barely concealed seething anger, I suggested that the ISP send a technician to my home. Oh wow! All is forgiven! What a cutie that technician was! It took him hours to sort out the problem and I just sat there looking at him almost all the time! What a shame that he eventually solved the problem and I now have my Internet connection, my phone and my LAN working again. Now, I wonder how I can get it all to screw up again...

The paradox has often been noted that the United States, founded in secularism, is now the most religiose country in Christendom, while England, with an established church headed by its constitutional monarch, is among the least. (Richard Dawkins, 2006)

Beauty is fun to behold. Smelling the flowers along the way. How wonderful to be able to appreciate.
Sorta sad that we can not even give a verbal complement for fear of insulting. Our society is a bit screwed up.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brothers to dwell together in unity!
Ps 133:1 NASB

Well, JFR, I would have enjoyed that too. But I'd be glad if I go it without losing my internet connexion.
I trust all goes well with you. I had my second cataract operation this evening and the surgeon say is went well and that I'll be able to see tomorrow!
He's ringing me at 08:30 tomorrow morning!
Love,
Anthony
