There were a lot of people in the ceremony...from 54 different countries. A new beginning for me.

Cool M! Congratulations. My grandparents became US citizens too. I'm proud to be your fellow countryman.

I can say personally while I love this country I distrust the government.

I have to ask, do you want what you see (governmentally)to stay the same, do you think change is imperative or would you prefer the statuesque? I don’t want to put you on the spot so ignore this portion of my post if you wish, I won’t be offended in the least.

M, I'm not sure what the future hold for any of us but I wish you the best!

i think is safe to say most us have some reservations about our own government. people in goverment are, after all, like us and people do tend to get corrupt, greedy, etc.
it's a matter of how you decide to exercise your rights as a citizen to change the status quoe.

i became a citizen because i know i wont be going back to my country. also i wish to vote and have the opportunity to apply for government jobs, things some citizens take for granted..

do i agree with our corrent goverment? not with everything. but i wish to make my voice heard when the time comes.

p.s. i didnt find your comment offensive Smile

I'd like to congratulate you on achieving something that is personally meaningful, and for achieving a life goal.

Make it count. Be a great citizen. Be involved. Exercise your right to vote and vote well. And be proud.
