Today the 5th of August is Tim's birthday. While it is not the 5th in England right now it is here in OZ so, I decided to post this here right now anyway.
I hope that you have a GREAT birthday Tim and I wish I were living in England so I could come and have a birthday celebration with you and your family and all your friends but alas, I can not.

Tim, you have been my friend and confidant for a long time and have cared for me much more than just about anyone I have ever met on the net, you are irreplaceable. I wish for you many more great days in your life. Smile

I have no words to answer that. I wish you were here, too. And, one day, I hope you will visit.

All the best for you, Timmy, you helped me a lot, even though you presented it as asking simple and direct questions. The best counsellors are those who force others to think and think deeply. I would like to thank you again, and I am sure there is a bunch of people like me who know you only from IOMfAtS and Place of Safety who are grateful to you for all the help, support and pieces of advice you have given over the last years.

Happy Birthday and a BIG HUG from Slovakia Smile

Tim, you've counseled me and consoled me. I can't say that for most of my friends off the internet. You've become a special person to me and I wish you not just a wonderful birthday but a wonderful life.

Happy birthday, Tim! You and your place here mean a lot to me, and I wish you an intensely happy year having included 'being an out gay man' in your comfort zone. I sincerely wish I had joined you, Deeej and NW in Brighton.

It's nice to have a new person I can say Happy Birthday to. I'll say it again and write it at the same time: "Happy Birthday Timmy!"

I have very rarely any solutions. 99% of the time I have only direct and uncompromising questions. I never need to hear the answers, but the perosn seeking the advice does. Life works simply when one has the right questions.

Thank you all for the wishes, on and off here Smile

I spent my birthday in Cornwall, looking at a boat I am not going to buy. The type of boat is right, the particular example is not.

Came home late last night via our house in Dartmouth to inspect building works there and found, as ever, more to do. Old houses are a money pit.

I exactly know, what you mean Timmy. When being asked for advice I do precisely the same.... I ask questions and need not hear answers.... The answers are for those who were asking Smile Thank you anyway and I will tell you why: behaviour according to one's own pieces of advice (albeit given to others) is one of the greatest challenges. I needed someone to ask me those questions I tend to ask others in such cases. Smile
