I have seen many of the movies that are linked on this blog, and I also own quite a few. There are still some newer and older movies I've either never heard of or seen before.

I love comming of age movies. So many, though! Which is your favorite, Pat?
I liked Billy Elliot a lot. When I was a kid, you couldn't tear me away from the old black and white version of "Lord of the Flies" (more for the photography than the story).

I particularly like movies such as The Neverending Story I, II, and III, Warriors of Virtue, and Storybook. Movies with plot lines similar to these, I would have to say, are among my favorites. The next movies I would put close to the top would be the Witch Mountain Saga. I have around 150 movies total on video tapes and DVDs.

I love "The Last Picture Show" which is a coming of age movie with high school grads and "Fandango" with college grads. "Picture Show" grabs my heart. "Fandango" lets my heart free to roam. Both take place in Texas. And both movies reflect very wonderful times of my life. With a youthful cast in mind, I nominate "To Kill a Mockingbird". The book and the movie are stellar and moving. Scout is a much stronger character than Gem in both book and movie, and in the movie, it's hard to take your eyes off Scout and her tomboyish charm.

L.I.E. for me, hands down. Paul Dano the boy is beautiful and Paul Dano the actor even more so.

I've heard L.I.E. is very good. I can't seem to find a DVD of it anywhere. Is it still available?

I looked for it on Amazon. It said that the movie is not being made any more, but they did have some used ones that people are trying to sell.

Huh. It's not available at wolfevideo.com, either. Guess I lucked out in buying it last year.

... you may e-Mail me at thegaydeceiver@gmail.com for a list of the gay-themed films hosted on my server through the ED2K network. The list comprises a majority (regretfully, I've not updated the list in quite a while) of the films found in the library.
None of the films (either short-subjects or feature-length) are in any manner pornographic in content, although depending on the film, nudity and sexual situations may, or may not, be an element of the film-maker's vision. By and large each can reasonably be assumed to be suitable for family viewing.
Once you have requested and obtained the files list, you will need to use your peer-to-peer (such as "eMule", "eDonkey", "Ares" or similar) client's search function to search for and locate a desired "Title" exactly as shown in the list.
The hard-disk holding these files has been off-line for several weeks and I will be purposefully bringing it back up in a few minutes in conjunction with this offering. Demand is usually high for many of the titles, so please be patient. Additionally it should be noted, that while file-sharing is currently legal in Canada, it MAY NOT BE where you reside, and you therefore should determine whether it is or not before connecting to the server.
I also ask that you bear in mind that depending on your bandwidth, and the peccadillos of the ED2K network itself, none of these files are instantaneous downloads and could take anywhere from a number of hours to several days to complete.
If you wish more information on any given title, there is generally a text-file associated with the file in the format "film title.[read me].txt" without the quotes which you may also download. This file gives relevant information about the film and any other files on the server associated with it.
Lastly, if you do download a film, find that you have enjoyed it, and feel that you would watch it time and time again, I can't urge you strongly enough to then go out and purchase the "Retail" DvD (I've appended the UPC/EAN to each file) and experience for yourselves the artists' vision as he or she has truly intended you to view it. Usually as an added bonus the DvD will feature additional Footage, Interviews and other Value-added materials that more often than not contribute to your overall viewing experience.

Edited to remove suggestion that I would update and reload file including ED2K hash-links to the server.

Edited to remove list.

Edited to change e-Mail address as hotmail.com apparently will no-longer allow any file that is not web-based to be attached to out-going messages.

I would prefer, please ED2K links NOT to be placed here in case doing so places this site in jeopardy. We are not subject to Canadian law.

... for Ares users, it will be probably 8 to 10 hours before their database has been updated, as it has to re-hash the files located on my server. As I've not used the Ares network for over a year, and I'm hosting some 40,000 audio and vidéo files, this over and above support files for Hardware and Software that my charitable endeavour uses for the refurbishing of computers, this a time consuming task.
If enough interest is shown, I'll consider creating "Torrents" for the gay-themed films, and uploading them to the BitTorrent network for those of you that use one of the torrent clients.
An e-Mail sent to thegaydeceiver@gmail.com quoting your UserName both here at APOS and and for the peer-to-peer client that you use to access the network, and the name of the client itself, I'll then place you in a preferential queue for downloading the files.
Enjoy!

... thanks Timmy.
I've provided sufficient information to enable those here interested to access the files of their own accord, including the request that they e-Mail me independently should they desire to do so, providing the e-Mail address.
