~~~
Inside, we all have angels
We all have little things we hide
When the wolf looks at the moon
It's elegance cannot hide
Piercing through the clouds at night
The rain comes down with all it's might
Waves will crash until emotion runs dry
Keep the faith, with your head held high
Don't stop running, you're still in the race
Remembering the times when love was written on your face
A child's smile makes life worth while
The moon dances with the stars, turning a frown into a smile
Don't look away when faced with the difference
Smile and know you're the start of your own chance
A chance to change, a chance to fall
Deeply into the river, and hear the dolphin's morning call
Take in the chances that life gives you
Know that the one you love will always be beside you
And know that no matter how far away we are
When daylight ends, and darkness comes, we'll both be looking at the same star.
~End~
thnkss, Josh: always good to see you posting your stuff, and it's been a while since the last one.
Hi Josh, this was a very nice and upbeat poem. I think it's very beautiful.
ps. IM is still acting like a petulant child.
There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love. Washington Irving
