This article talks more about the Jewish congregations, but I'm sure that the effect is being felt across all organized religions. And for my denomination, I think that being deprived of funds will do more good than harm. And Anthony might like reading this. So I decided to share.

I am definitely a divided man. In one sense, these people have purposefully separated themselves from secularism and with thoughts of segregating themselves from the "evils" of the world. Reap what you sow.
The other half welcome those who want an education. There will always be a free public education for all. Welcome back the prodigal child.
Religion is so divisive. Jesus was correct, probably thinking about how religion would develop over the centuries, when he said I came...to divide.

It really depends how they are funded. Tithing will be down, but huge landlords like The Church of England will be pretty much unaffected.
