I expect simple behaviours here. Friendship, and love. Any advice should be from the perspective of the person asking, not the person giving! We have had to make new membership moderated to combat the huge number of spammers who register

I sometimes ask this question because I want to make sure that this forum, this messageboard meets your needs.
I don't care whether you post or not, I just want to know the answers to this survey:
I can't identify you from your answers The poll system does put a cookie onto your computer, but only to stop you answering twice. I can't see you, and don't care who you are. All I care about is trying to get the forum right for you.
Perhaps you already know this and it is why you are asking about age and how the forum can better provide for the needs of those who come here. As of the writing of this reply there have been fourteen people who have answered the age question. All of the topics on the first page of the forum, going back a week, contain posts from a total of sixteen participants. So you have already heard from most of those who actually post here and only three of them are 50 or less.
People are going to be looking for others close to their own age to discuss life with. When you were a teen or 20-something how well did you relate to those who were 30, 40 or 50 years older than you? My Grandfather was a nice guy and told interesting stories but he knew nothing about being a college student when I was one. There is a generational divide between those who participate here and those you appear to be seeking as participants. I'm not sure that is something that you can overcome.

All I know is the age of those who post. What I do not know is the age of those who never post and just read. I can see the figures of 16 and 14, but the two do not necessarily have a correlation. So I want to know the total age profile here.

As you will see, we have got this to the head of the forum. Ugly, isn't it? That is as pretty as it gets. It took Megaman an hour of struggle to achieve it.
