I went to the carol service at the school I used to teach at for several years. Not only did I see the boy I based a new major character on in the continuation of the story I am writing (to be expected) but also the boy I based another character on in the same story who had not returned to the school since he left over thirty years ago. That and meeting another great character I had not seen for twenty-five years made it a joyous day.

Do you ever wonder just how many of them are really gay?

My ISP has been down for 36 hours and it looks as if I have missed quite an exciting time on the board. Because of other commitments I have little chance of catching up.
Timmy, I do wonder whether they are gay. I think the nearest they get to it is adolescent experimentation and naughtiness, assuming they get that far.
The danger is that I can too easily impose my thoughts and characterisation on them and therefore make them thoroughly untrue to life.
However, a small number I take from my own school and university days did happen to be gay.
Mackay, in the best of all possible worlds I would love to share my story with them, but I am not ready to take the consequences.

You think you got problems?
I just installed a wireless network and new computers and am still trying to get everything working.
Our lives are but tribulation and wretchedness.
Oy.
